Atlantic City Trip

Another week of waiting and here we are at our next short trip destination! Atlantic City is also known as the mini Las Vegas. It's pretty much the same as Jenkinsons, because it's still a boardwalk with park rides and food. You can also find Salt Water Taffy (sweets) which New Jersey is well known for, funnel cales, cheese steaks etc. Along the boardwalk there's surprisingly many small stalls opened by Indians. Yah I have no idea there's so many Indians here. The things they sell are very typical- clothes, shades, hotdogs.. but it's very cheap. The thing I hate most is the way they keep following you around to make sure you dont shoplift. I know why the they are doing it but it's so offensive! I feel like a thief.

This is the sweet shop that very cool. Apparently there's bound to be a sweet/ chocolate shop in any tourist attraction. This explains the obesity level in America? haha.. See the elephant, it''s made up of totally all candies. There's even candy underwear and bikinis! Seriously, they can be worn! What who knows what people do after they wear the candie lingerie hee..

Other than all the small stalls of course there's casinos too. The casinos are all based on differnet themes. Eg.Wild wild west, Casears, Indian. The Taj Mahal Casino by Trump left the most impression. Hah I guess it's because it's Trump.

We shopped the whole day too at The Walk, another stretch of outlets. Shopping in US is a killer! I wonder why their stuff are so cheap. Anyway, we walked and walked until the sunset and when it became chilly again, just like spring. I had fun getting more pretty stuff for myself and friends hee. =)



The most worthwhile thing done for the day is dinner buffet. This is the most expensive meal ever! It's about USD 22 per pax but it's somehow like an international buffet at Bally's Wild Wild West Casino. The food is awesome! There's a whole lot of varieties and it taste simply delicious! Hansen keep attacking the prawns, which makes his money totally worth it. The steak was the best thing that night. I cant describe how full I was.

WenLie is always quite lucky when he's at the gambling table. Before me and Charlotte met up with him, he'd already played the whole night alone. Even when we went back home the next night, he continued playing. Well cant blame him cause the winner always dont wana leave the table. Guess he's won all the money he needs to travel US! Posted by Picasa
